Find out more about membership

A unique feature of Credit Unions is that members must have a common bond with each other – that is that the members live, work or study in a particular area. It defines the area in which a credit union can operate. The common bond ensures that the savings of members of the community are available to fellow members as loans.

You are eligible to become a member if you live, work or study in the Common Bond. Our Common Bond centres on Letterkenny but extends to Ramelton, Ballyare, Loughkeel, Termon, Kilmacrennan, Gortnavern, Castlewray, Gartan, Churchill, Seacor, Meenacarragh, Killymasney, Corravaddy, Magheraboy.

If a member ceases to hold the common bond i.e. they move outside the area or leave their job, they may continue to be a member.

Joining is made effortless and swift with our website or mobile app. Skip the queues and complete the process conveniently from your phone in the comfort of your home. Click here to become a member today!

If you encounter difficulties while signing up online, visit our office where a member of our friendly staff will guide you through the application process in person.
